MEET MICHAEL PALADINI, PROUD OWNER OF ASAP AUTOMOTIVE
My name is Michael Paladini, and I am the owner of ASAP Automotive. I have been immersed in the automotive industry for over 25 years, beginning early in high school. In truth, you could say it started at birth—I’ve been a “gearhead” my whole life. With my father being a transmission technician for many years, working with cars runs in the family. My professional automotive journey officially began during my junior year of high school when I participated in a school-to-work program through my Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) class. This opportunity led me to work for my Sunday school teacher at a small repair shop. That experience was invaluable, allowing me to learn from incredible mentors and laying the foundation for the business owner I am today. From there, my career took me to John Deere, where I worked on the parts side of the business, gaining a comprehensive understanding of inventory and supply chain management. Later, I joined an underground directional drilling company as a fleet manager and purchasing agent, overseeing nearly 300 pieces of equipment. Throughout this time, I continued to work as a technician on nights and weekends, advancing my skills and earning certifications up to the level of Advanced ASE Technician.
Owning my own shop has always been my passion—I truly live and breathe automotive work. Growing up in Florida’s Panhandle, I spent my free time either mud bogging in the woods or drag racing anything I could get my hands on. These experiences, combined with years of hands-on work and dedication, have shaped me into the business owner and automotive tech I am today.
