- Customer complaint: Vehicle will not start, sometimes will then dies shortly after. Verified that vehicle will crank but no start. Tested and found 0psi fuel pressure, verified that fuel pump is not coming on. Tested N1 power circuit for fuel pump at M25 fuse, no voltage found with key in run or start positions. Tested A209 power circuit for fuel pump relay, found battery voltage with key on as it should. Tested S321 fuel pump relay signal circuit (positive side) found battery voltage with key in run and start positions as it should. Tested fuel pump relay control circuit (ground side) K31 and found that pcm is supplying ground with key in start and run positions as it should. Just to verify fuel pump integrity and circuit from fuse M25 to fuel pump integrity, supplied power to the output side of M25 while cranking. Vehicle started and ran. Diagnosis: fuel pump relay has failed, vehicle will need a new TIPM (total integrated power module) as relay is hard soldered into the circuit board.
